Miss Amy
2's Teacher
Working with young children has been an ambition of mine ever since my parents began taking in foster children when I was in grade school. I enjoyed babysitting all through school and have had the opportunity to teach two-year-olds, preschool, and elementary since graduating from college.
I appreciate the innocent, trusting nature of young children as well as their enthusiasm and excitement about the small things in life. Helping children accomplish new tasks or learn new concepts and then seeing their faces light up in moments of triumph is very rewarding!

My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which children can learn and realize their full potential. I strive to establish a positive, personal relationship with each child. I try to build on the children's strengths and successes in order to increase their self-confidence and foster their love of learning. Structure and routine are critical elements of my classroom. A hands-on approach to learning is emphasized which encourages the children to use their five senses to explore and discover the wonders of the world around them.

Render service with enthusiasm...knowing that whatever good we do, we will receive the same again from the Lord. Ephesians 6: 7-8
