We believe in the importance of family and significance of our security and love needed in a child's life and therefore work to meet the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of the children. Each child is seen as an individual personality. We work and play with the children on an individual and group basis.
This web site is just a snapshot of the fun things and quality care offered to the children at Noah's Ark, in connection with a Christian Retirement Community. If you would like more information or a tour please contact us.

When Do I Go... And How Long Will I Stay?
Noah's Ark is open Monday through Friday at 7:00 a.m. All children ages 2 to 8 are welcome to attend Noah's Ark.

Noah's Ark also has a preschool program that follows the school calendar. The preschool prep class is for 3 year olds, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:30.

The pre-Kindergarten class is for 4 & 5 year olds and meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 to 11:30.

When will I go home?
You will go home when your parents are finished with their work day. Noah's Ark closes at 5:30. Or...If you are in one of the preschool classes, you will go home at 11:30.

What Should I Bring?
We ask that you come each day with a smile!

Also bring appropriate clothes to play and learn in. If the weather is nice we will go outside to play on the playground, go for walks on Maple Lawn's nature trails, visit our older friends at Maple Lawn, and other fun things.

We ask that you bring a change of clothes to Noah's Ark to keep in you cubbies. Accidents do happen and we want you to feel comfortable if you would spill something on you.

What Will I Do At Noah's Ark?
Noah's Ark offers a variety of readiness experiences in early learning in the areas of school readiness skills, language, music, arts and crafts, prescience, math and reading, creative movement, large motor skills and Bible stories.

You will also participate in pre-planned and spontaneous activities with the senior residents of Maple Lawn Retirement community. The programs are jointly planned with the teachers from Noah's Ark and the Activity personal from the Retirement Community.

My Class

We have three classes for the daycare children.

We have a room for the two-year-olds, a room for the three-year-olds, and a room for the four-year-olds. In the four-year old class, the teacher is working hard at preparing the children for kindergarten.

We have a preschool program that includes a class for 3's which meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-11:30 a.m. and a class for 4's that meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-11:30 a.m.

We also care for children in a before and after school program for children ages 5 through 8. We provide transportation to school in the mornings, and the school district buses them to Noah's Ark in the afternoon. We also provide care for the school children when school is not in session during the school year and throughout the summer.

Who Will Play With Me?
You will be in a classroom with other children your age who will play with you. Sometimes you will also play with the children in the other classes. You'll get to meet some of the residents who live at Maple Lawn Retirement Community, and make friends with an older person. You will have lots of new friends!
